Practice com um C ou practise com um S - qual ortografia está correta?
No inglês americano, practice pode funcionar como um substantivo ou um verbo.
Independentemente do seu papel na frase, a ortografia correta é sempre practice com um C.
No inglês britânico, se practice ou practise é a escolha correta depende do seu papel na frase.
Por exemplo, se você está se referindo ao que um médico faz, você diria que ele practises medicine.
Escreve-se a forma verbal, practise, com um S.
No entanto, se você está se referindo ao trabalho do médico, você pode usar a forma substantiva, practice com um C.
Porém, a linguagem está sempre mudando.
Em algumas formas de inglês, como o inglês canadense, a prática com um C está se tornando mais popular para substantivos e verbos.
