Erro comum: diferença entre who e that
Tanto "who" como "that" podem ser usados como pronomes e podem ser intercambiáveis; mas tem sentidos diferentes.
A maneira mais fácil de lembrar qual palavra usar é:
Use "who" quando falar sobre uma pessoa.
Use "that" quando falar sobre um objeto.
Incorreto: She was the person that was sitting in the waiting room.
Correto: She was the person who was sitting in the waiting room.
Incorreto: It was one of two empty chairs who were in the waiting room.
Correto: It was one of two empty chairs that were in the waiting room.
