I wonder how Brazilian teachers can encourage their students to use these idioms more frequently.I often tell them to listen to English in a Minute from VOA because they can listen to the idioms and later on use them in their conversations.What do you think about it?

Yes, I agree it's kind of difficult to encourage students to use them, especially in Brazil no English usage in the daily life.
I don't know about Brazilian teachers but for me I try as much as I can to use them during the classes as all my classes in English only.
In addition, I create chat groups in English with all students to keep in touch with language in daily basis, do u have other suggestions?
