But where is Scotland exactly? It's a small country in the United Kingdom, just a few hours from London. Its capital is Edinburgh and the biggest city is Glasgow. The country is also known for its whisky, Loch Ness and Mary Queen of Scots (yes, that one in Reign TV Show, who was married to King Francis).
But what about Scottish English? Yes, they have some different words from standard English and their accent may be a bit hard to understand at first, but hey, you are an English learner, aren't you? So you're supposed to hear all kinds of English.
