Como usar no sooner ...than
É errado usar when ao invés de than nestas frases.
Se a frase começar com no sooner, o verbo auxiliar did ou had deve vir imediatamente em seguida.
• Incorreto: No sooner had she read the telegram when she fainted.
• Correto: No sooner had she read the telegram than she fainted.
• Incorreto: No sooner I heard the shot than I rushed to the spot.
• Correto: No sooner did I hear the shot than I rushed to the spot.
