"Changing" só está com o sufixo "ing" porque há a preposição "of" antes: é regra regal do inglês que todos os verbos fiquem no gerúndio com "ing" após uma preposição. Outro exemplo: "she's thinking about travelling around the world", onde thinking expressa ideia de ação contínua, about é a preposição e travelling é o outro verbo, mas, que na tradução para o português, ficaria na forma infinitiva, mas aqui precisa ter o "ing".
2) B
Transparent words são palavras semelhantes na escrita e com o mesmo significado em inglês e em algum outro idioma. Um exemplo disso, para nós falantes da língua portuguesa, é "information". No caso do exercício, você nem precisa ler de fato o trecho, é só olhar as alternativas e encontrar aquela cujas palavras são parecidas com o português.
