An important note about the question itself. The question requires an article to be grammatically correct. Do you miss (A) place you have lived before...or (A) place you have visited?
You can also use a demonstraive between the subject and the pronoun for example (A) place (that) you have lived before) or (A) place (that) you have visited?
To answer your question. I do miss a few places that I have lived before, however, I do not plan on and would probably not live in these places again. The idea to miss something is to feel the loss or lack of something. In my case, I have good memories of the places that I have lived and have nostaligia more than a sense that something is missing. Life to too short to go backwards, search and find new places, the world is so big. Have a great day!
