Apologies & Excuses.

Whenever you make a serious mistake and you realize it at once, what should you do and say?

In English, to express your regret and show you are sorry for your wrongdoings, you may use these regular verbs:

 .Apologize

.Excuse

.Atone

.Make amends

However, some mistakes and wrongdoings are so evil and unacceptable that even if the persons regret what they have done or caused ,by simply saying:"I"m sorry";"I admit my guilt " or "I express my regret !" these formal excuses cannot be enough, can they?
