The king of animals & The Lion King !

How about their hunters ?

Lions have always been described as The King

of all animals,haven't they ? However , after

reading an article about lions' habits by some

people who have observed them very closely ,

readers can get a bit disappointed with some

of their characteristics :

"Lions are opportunists; they prefer to eat without

having to do too much work.If another animal has

made a kill,they will drive it off and take the kill for

themselves ! A grown lion can easily consume 60

pounds of meat at a single feeding.Often they eat

until it seems painful for them to lie down !"

On the other hand , The Lion King filmed at

Walt Disney Studios entertained kids all over

the world and made spectators love Simba's

adventures .

Nowadays The Lion King is also one of 

the greatest Broadway Musicals which

attracts hundreds of tourists to watch

this show all year around !

Now just a few words about lion hunters.They

are not admired or loved at all.  They have al -

-ways killed lions without thinking twice ! They

often  ignore the lions' importance and environ-

-ment just to get a trophy,make money and have

fun !!!

Recently ,there has been  this terrible killing of  

Cecil the lion symbol of Zimbabwe which shock-

-ed people all over the world.

Walter Palmer ,the american dentist who shot

Cecil ,one of the most Zimbabwe´s treasured

animal ,excused himself for having shot such an

important symbol for the African people but the

hunter simply said:" I did nothing against the law !!!
