The Nobel Prize and Prize in Economic Science have always been awarded to young and old laureates from different nationalities and fields. The Prizes were awarded to one, shared by two or by three as well. More than 950 Nobel Laureates who were chosen between 1901 and 2020 called many people's attention but many of them were also ignored or criticized by a great number of people.
Out of these 900 recipients, only 57 women won the Nobel Prize during these years. Marie Curie was the only woman who received The Nobel Price twice! You can turn to data from the Nobel Prize website to get more information about these awards. There are very interesting "Quick Facts" on the website to read and bring back some winners who really made a difference in our Planet. You can also check the years without the Nobel Awards and the Laureates who declined the prize.
