The Olympic Games are about to begin in Rio de Janeiro ( August 5 ) ! The city has been undergoing several renovations and improvements that are making Rio's residents feel really impatient and nervous with all the changes the city has been getting lately.

Tourists have been arriving at the city everyday and trying to manage traffic problems,crowded public transportations and safety problems all around the city.
However,authorities and the Olympic commitee, organisers and volunteers have been making their best not only to welcome the 10,500 athletes that will be competing in the games but also 500,000 foreign visitors who are expecting to get great moments in Rio from August 5th (when the opening ceremony will take place at the world famous Maracanã Stadium ) until August 21st when there will be the Closing Ceremony.
