How does pronunciation affect communication?
It is always better to know fewer words and pronounce them well than to know a lot of words and pronounce them badly. Bad pronunciation can lead to misunderstandings that may cause mishaps. It can also lead to people avoiding communication with you because they feel you are too difficult to talk to.
Why pronunciation is difficult in English?
English is not a phonetic language. Often, a letter does not correspond to only one sound. As a result, it's extremely challenging to learn the pronunciation of a word simply from its spelling.
Why is pronunciation so important?
Pronunciation refers to how we say things in a language, so that a speaker's intended message is easily understood by a hearer. Pronunciation is very important, especially for English, where many words and sounds are hard to say properly.
