past time.It is also called binge viewing.It is

the practice of watching TV shows for longer

time spans than usual,usually of a single TV

show.

According to a recent survey 73% of people de-

-fine binge watching as "watching between 2-6

episodes of the same TV show in one sitting."

 This phenomenon has become popular with

the increase of online media services such as

Netflix , Hulu and Amazon Prime where  the

viewer can watch TV shows and movies on de-

-mand.This practice began in 1980 and is  still

popular among subscription.
