Well, most currency lists are very long and often print the 164 official national currencies circulating around the world. However, you cannot find in the popular currency lists the "bitcoins" ! The "bitcoins" have been repeatedly mentioned in the middle of May all over the world ,haven't they ? There have been cyber attacks in different parts of the world with hackers demanding "bitcoins" to unlock private files and computers too !

Have you read or heard about this issue lately ? Can you explain what "bitcoins" are ? Do you mind when you buy something and the shopassistant gives you back lots of coins as change for your regular bill ?
Anyway ,you can find the "bitcoin" defined in several online dictionaries but you cannot look it up at a dictionary that was printed before 2008! The "bitcoin" is a digital currency produced by a public network rather than any government. In other words, the "bitcoin" is a virtual currency created for use in on line transactions. It is not yet a stable currency.
