Exercising the mind and the body ?
Athletes usually have a tiring routine.
They have to practise their sports as
often as possible so they do not have
enough time to relax,do they ? Then
sportsmen need to learn techniques
designed to promote relaxation,build
internal energy of life force and deve-
-lope one-pointed concentration .
Athletes must also learn how to breath
in and out so that they can have better
performances,right ?
Well, all these techniques are also practi-
-sed by people who do Yoga .Their objecti-
-ves are not to break records or score goals
or points !
People who practise Yoga aim to improve
their fitness.However,it is not only physical
fitness ,they want to have mental and spiritual
harmony as well.Through Yoga postures,breath-
-ing exercises and deep relaxation people keep
their minds ,souls and bodies in good shape.
