Are the verbs bite and sting synonyms ?

Sometimes  mosquitoes or bugs make holes

on people's skins then you may say :

However the verb bite is often used to express

the action of dogs biting strangers , people who

have the habit of biting their nails or enjoy biting

all kinds of fruit . They make use of their teeth to

bite. Insects and bugs ,in general, have no teeth,

right ? They have fangs.
