Everybody knows that cats love eating fish! Catlovers always try to please their pets giving them fish, at least, once a week, don't they? What happens to cats when they see fish tanks? Do you believe cats and fish can live in peace at the same place?
Look at these two pictures below. They are called catfish. They live in lakes and rivers. You wouldn't like to have them swimming in your fish tank, would you?
Well, "catfish" is also the expression used for someone who tricks another person into having an online relationship by adopting a fake identity! It is used as a verb too. The expression "catfish" comes from the 2010 documentary which deals with the relationship of this kind. A couple of young filmmakers document their friend's online relationships which lead to a series of unexpected discoveries. You can watch "Catfish" on Youtube if you are curious about it. It takes about two hours.
