Forty Five years ? Time to celebrate.

It is unusual to celebrate 45 years of

marriage ,isn't it ?

However, sometimes couples cannot wait

until 50 years (gold anniversary) or at 40

years of marriage (ruby anniversary) be -

-cause of healthy problems the party may

have to be postponed . The couple will need

to choose another year and the best moment

to celebrate their marriage,if they really intend

to have a big party.

 Well,Charlotte Rampling (Kate)and Tom Court-

-tenay(Geoff) performed beautifully in this flick:

45 years. They were awarded best actress and

best actor awards at the  65 Berlin International

Festival this year.

45 years is not the entertaiment type of movie.

It shows ,in a very naturalistic way ,a couple who

had been aging together for such a long time and

believing they have already told each other every-

thing about their past and present lives. Suddenly

a letter brings "bad news" which  makes their happy

lives change a bit.

 Kate (Charlotte Rampling) cannot be indi-

-fferent to Geoff 's (Tom Courtnay) past.Geoff

 had a secret that he could not share with her!

Then she got into a personal journey which made

her feel very unhappy and disappointed  indeed.

Kate believed she knew everything about Geoff's

life but she didn' t. Anyway,she had already made

up her mind about their 45-year-anniversary party.

She had also chosen all the songs the couple enjoy-

-ed listening and dancing too. One of the songs is:
