Rising house prices and rents combined with low wage growth created the clipped wing generation.A recent british study found that in five young people aged 20 to 34 have moved back with their parents or grandparents in the past year .The main reason for doing so was the cost of housing either pricey rents or they needed to save for a deposit on a home. Thus these young people see themselves stuck in the family home for years to come despite being in paid works.
