Nobody likes when their teams in a decisive competition end the game in a tie : 1x1 or 3x3 .How do you feel when the score is not the one you imagined or expected ?
Well,in a presidential election a deadlock is not welcome either .Both American candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have been trying earnestly to change their " statistical tie " .
Did you know these other English expressions : " deadlock " and "a draw" were used to refer to these situations in which players, teams, candidates or groups have the same score ?
Click on the links below to see these words in context. Pay attention to the other words in the reports about the election which are also connected with sports ,ok ?
Who do you think will be the winner ?
Do you have a favorite candidate ?
Why are there so many Americans still in doubt about their choices ?

The polls show us that there is a deadlock in the 2016 American Elections. My favorite candidate is Hillary Clinton, I think that she will win.
The Americans are divided between these two politicians because they are not reliable people, I guess!
