Feeling shocked ?!?!

Not only natural disasters and sudden deaths make us shocked or horrified nowadays. It is nearly impossible to feel calm and relaxed while our modern world and societies keep changing so fast and "providing" dramatic political situations,awful crimes,unbelievable scams ,sudden gang attacks in the middle of tunnels,shootings and so on and so forth.
Liz Potter from Macmillamdictionary.com selected in her Blog-Language Tip of the week some adjectives different from "shocked" which express this feeling that makes people unable to speak,react or think clearly.Ms Potter also provides some examples with these adjectives that everyone may understand and learn other adjectives which can replace "shocked" and "horrified" .

These words should be in our everyday conversations. Some of them are more used than others. After reading the blog I've learned 2 new adjetives: appalled and dazed. Liz Potter didn't mention the word bewildered that is also often used to express shock and confusion.
