Gaffes in 2017 !?!?!

If you were looking forward to knowing the winners of the 89th Oscar Awards you have probably read them! Nobody expected to get at the climax of the Oscars, the wrong envelope opened and revealing not the winner of the best picture but La La Land as the winner instead!

It was really an embarrassing shocking situation or in other words an astonishing flub!

 It is not only the noun  "flub" that is used to refer to a situation when someone does something and creates socially embarrassing reactions. There are several other words such as gaffe, faux pas, a blunder or more idiomatically, you would say "  They had dropped a brick !" Did you know all of them?
