Why do I get goose bumps ? Have you ever felt

uncomfortable or embarrassed because  your

hair stood on end  unexpectedly ? 

When you are cold or scared,the muscles

contract pulling the hair upright and caus-

-ing goose bumps.

Goose bumps or chicken skin,are shortlived

changes in you skin caused by cold or fear.

They are also known as the chills or simply

the thrills. It is an emotionally triggered res-

-ponse when one is deeply affected by things

such as music,speech or recollections.
