Soap operas are not novels or novellas  !

Novel(s) =(n.) a fictional prose narrative

of considerable length,typically having a

plot that is unfolded by the actions,speech,

and thoughts of the characters.

Novella(s) =(n.) a short novel.

Soap opera (s )=(n.) a serial drama that is usual-

-ly formed on daytime television and is charac-

-terized by melodrama and individual relation-

-ships in and to society.

Novelists, short story writers and scriptwriters

have different styles and strategies to keep their

readers and spectators interested in their work .

Most readers and spectators expect to have fun

while reading or watching a flick at the cinema or

on TV screens.

Many people prefer to have happy end-

-ings for most of the stories ,however it

is common,nowadays, to have nice surpri-

-ses at the end of all these sorts of stories

and sometimes there is an open ending which

everyone can imagine how the stories finished

or followed up.
