Have you got FOMO ?

Have you listened to this term FOMO before? Do you believe many people have got FOMO lately? Is FOMO a modern disease?How can people overcome FOMO? Why are there so many teenagers suffering with FOMO ? 

 

If you have not seen this acronym before you can check its meaning at some dictionaries because the term has turned out so mainstream that it was important to have FOMO included in the mainstream dictionaries as well. FOMO is used when an individual feels stressed or experiences anxiety when he or she is not invited to a social event. FOMO feelings are usually amplified to recurrent visitors of social websites like Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, where users look at a stream of videos comments, and pictures of events, outings, parties, or other activities that they might not be invited to.
