Honesty and sincerity are qualities which a
handful of people have nowadays.It is very
easy to meet liars everywhere,isn't it? Disho-
-nest people keep telling lies nonstop which
cause serious consequences in our society.

Some speakers are able to tell lies through
their teeth so well that they make wrong and
inaccurate information sound as if they were
true facts !

Obs(1) :The verb to lie (lied,lied) is a regular verb .
When it takes the -ing the spelling changes.Look
at the examples below :
Little Lucy was lying about her school test results
because she was afraid of her mother's reaction !
John has been lying about his financial situation.He
is unemployed at the moment .
Those politicians were lying through their teeth
when they denied taking part in that illegal nego-
-tiation.
Obs(2): the phrase to lie through your teeth is
frequently used to convey a false image or im-
-pression,to tell someone something that is com-
-pletely untrue.
