Lockdown Days in 2020

During the lockdown days, several people could create different and amazing projects to face quarantine restrictions. Corey Baker, an award-winning choreographer worked with dancers from renowned dance companies across the Globe (New Zealand to South Africa, America to Hong Kong, Australia to the UK)and created a three-minute choreography in his own bathroom.

Mr. Baker made tutorial videos for a global lineup of dancers and he had to direct and rehearse with the 27 dancers from his toilet seat, so he could appreciate the confines they were performing within.

The film was created as part of the BBC Arts' Culture in Quarantine program, which has brought arts and culture into the nation's homes during the lockdown.

Swan Lake Bath Ballet was filmed completely remotely ( on smartphones )set to Tchaikovsky's famous swan theme. During the COVID-19 pandemic, ballet dancers and choreographer could use their creativity to make many people have fun!
