Throughtout the ages, people of all faiths

have believed they would have benifts if

they used different types of good luck charms,

lucky symbols,amulets and talismans.

Although there is no definite explanation for

their good results, the idea that we gain bene-

-fits from charms has been fascinating us.How

about you ? Do you carry any of these talismans

in your bag or in your wallet ?

Why are there horseshoes over so many doorways ?

What do clovers with four leaves symbolize ?

How about rabbit paw keyholders ? Have you

ever bought one ?

Look at these blue beads in shape of an eye

made from blue glass with a hole in the middle.

In Tukish they are called Nazar that means "evil

eye".

Some people believe that there are people with

unknown and extraordinary nazar powers,espe-

-cially those with blue eyes.  It is believed that

when a person with such powers looks at another

person, animal or child then some misfortune will

befall them.In order to protect new born children

from this evil eye, blue beads are attached to them.

It is also believed that hanging blue beads inside

cars will protect them from accidents.

Have you ever received one of these blue

beads as a gift ? Do you believe blue beads

may protect us from dangers and bad ener-

-gies ?

Make some comments at the bottom of this

post,ok ?
