Changes and Improvements ? 

Whenever the year is nearly finishing ,

many people make long lists of their ex-

-pectations and  decisions they have in

mind to really improve their lives and rou-

-tines in the new year which is about to be-

gin.Then the most frequent question is :

There are several possible answers to this

question,aren't  there ? However, many per-

-sons perfer not to answer it at all !

 Anyway, it is important to point out the use

and differences of the verbs expect,hope and

wait.They are regular verbs so in  their past

and past participle parts you need to add -ed.

Examples:

Lucy expected to receive several nice Xmas

presents last year,but she got only one !

Janet hoped to save some money along the year

so that she would be able buy Xmas gifts to some

poor kids.

Those children waited for Santa Claus all night

long,but Father Xmas never appeared !
