NO....KNOW.....NOW !!!

What a difference a consonant (K) makes ! 

English correct pronunciation makes many learners

complain about it and sometimes ,give up studying or

improving their speaking skill.

There are lots of words which sound

the same but their spellings and meanings

are different.

Examples:

No (the opposite of Yes ) and Know (verb)knew,known

have the same pronunciation.

- Do you know everybody in this room ?

- No,I don´t.

However the word :

Now (adverb) = at the moment  sounds like

town ; brown ; cow;  but not like

 know(verb)! 

As time goes by,these words are used

so frequently that they stop being a problem,

mainly when the learners can see :

No,Know and now in several contexts.

Then  whenever there is a word you consider

difficult to pronounce,do not worry too much

about it . 

Keep practising with a friend or a teacher , you

may also listen to songs on You Tube * ,watch

films and news reports.

In the end your pronunciation will improve

a lot !
