Silent Breakers.

TIME magazine has always chosen someone important and who has made a real difference, along the year ,to be on its cover at the end of every year,hasn't it ? Well,the magazine has just revealed the 2017 year cover  and story.At a first glance then it is surprising  to see on TIME magazine cover not only ONE person as the usual last cover of the year !There are several women instead :" The Silence Breakers  ".

These women were chosen because they were able to encourage and motivate crowds of people(women and men) to tell their stories about sexual harassment and abuse despite all their dread and fears which they have always felt towards their "powerful" perpetrators.Most of them felt so humiliated that they could not say anything about their sufferings and humiliation.

However when "the word was out " the repercussion was huge and "sexual harassment and abuse" turned out to be a national and international discussion as well.People were not afraid of retaliation anymore and the sense of solidarity could be felt all over the planet.
