The Greatest show on Earth ?

Carnival is considered to be the Greatest Show on Earth! Then, all over the year, lots of people in The Wonderful City ( Rio de Janeiro) who are totally fond of Samba, Parties and Fancy Costumes do not waste time while they are getting ready for the Carnival weeks.

The Carnival competition in Rio de Janeiro sees the city's top 12 samba groups parade in the Sambadrome, each delivering an over-the-top,hour-long display aiming at capturing the annual title of The Champion of Carnival.

Each school is evaluated by 40 judges placed at strategic locations at the Sambadrome.The judges award points in 10 categories which include :

.Percussion Band.

.Samba Song.

.Harmony.  

.Flow and Spirit.

 .Floats and Props.

.Costumes.

. Vanguard Group.

. The Flag Bearer.

.Theme of the Year.

.Overall Impression
