Volunteer rescue workers who wake up every day to save the lives others are trying so hard to take have been named White Helmets in Syria.They have already saved 62,000 lives in Syria and for that ,they are under attack.
The White Helmets were favorites to win the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize but they did not get it this year.However,these Syrian rescue workers have won admirers around the world for their extraordinary brave work .
The White Helmets can tell several stories of hope shining from one of the darkest corners of humanity : Aleppo ! They risk their lives to reach victims of bombing and airstrikes.They rush into burning buildings,dig through heaps of rubble and rush wounded Syrians to what medical facilities remain!
