Which film did you like best : Marguerite ( directed by Xavier Giannoli ) or Florence Foster Jenkins (directed by Stephen Frears) ? Difficult choice,isn't it ? Both productions are heartbreakingly funny and beautiful !

Both  films were inspired by the life of  Florence Foster Jenkins ( 1868 - 1944 ) the eccentric American socialite who was unable to sing a note but loved music so much she did not mind being laughed at ! She embarked on a career as an amateur opera singer but her polite dearest husband and her loyal guests were never able to tell her how badly she sang ! May be they all agreed with this famous quote : "When words fail , music speaks ".

The french actress Catherine Frot's and the american famous Meryl Streep's performances are really great ,aren't they ?
